Professor Ian Fentiman, Consultant Breast Surgeon
The Harley Street Breast Clinic is delighted to welcome Professor Ian Fentiman who joined us in May 2012

This makes the Harley Street Breast Clinic one of the biggest Private Breast Diagnostics Centre in London with our five Consultant Breast Surgeons. Perhaps, this is not surprising as The Harley Street Breast Clinic is the only Private Clinic in London entirely devoted to breast problems and the only Clinic that has an onsite pathology laboratory enabling us to provide results from needle biopsies in just 15-20 minutes.
Professor Fentiman has just moved from Guys and St Thomas' Hospital. He is one of Britain's best known breast cancer surgeons having been involved in many of the research studies that have shaped the current surgical treatment of breast cancer. In particular, Professor Fentiman was a pioneer of breast conserving surgery enabling so many women to avoid masectomy. I worked with Professor Fentiman at Guys Hospital for 15 years and can attest not only for his glittering academic record, but also his clinical expertise and compassion. I am delighted that he has joined our team at Harley Street Breast Clinic.
