Did you know that today breast cancer is the most common cancer in women? Did you know that there are only 5 simple steps which you can do in your own home to keep yourself breast aware? Do yourself a favour and follow these simple steps … it could save your life!
- Don’t be afraid to look at your breasts. You need to know what is normal for your breasts
- Feel your breasts but not just your breasts! Ensure to include your upper chest and into your armpits too

If you have any concerns about any abnormality – make an appointment with your GP immediately. Remember not all lumps or abnormalities are cancer but the only way you can know for certain is through an expert opinion
If there is a family history of breast cancer, or if you are over 40 years of age, make sure you book an appointment for breast screening.
